Description Located in historic downtown Canton, Georgia, the Cherokee County History Center is operated by History Cherokee. The museum documents the history of Cherokee County spanning from Native American inhabitants to the industries, people, and events which shaped the area to what it is today. Six unique galleries covering the Cherokee and Creekland indigenous peoples through modern times. Galleries feature a variety of artifacts and photographs, plus interactive exhibits perfect for all ages from the collections of the Cherokee County Historical Society.
