The pasta and sandwiches are very tasty and high quality. We really enjoyed the food and nice atmosphere. We ate lunch which you order at the counter. I think thats fine for lunch, but for dinner I think they should have servers to make it more of an experience. Plus their prices are a tad high for walk up ordering. Overall though the food is a 5 and please give them a try.
Jun 14, 2026 · Google ReviewI started coming here for vibes alone and have eaten my way through the menu. Nothing will disappoint. Tiramisu is outstanding. St. Joseph sandwich is a favorite. It’s so good we drive two hours to enjoy this place!
Jun 4, 2026 · Google ReviewPOPS is hands-down my favorite Italian restaurant in Canton, GA. If you’re looking for homemade pasta in downtown Canton with a fun, elevated vibe, this place is a must. First—the food. Everything I’ve tried has been amazing, but the Chicken Parmesan deserves its own shoutout: the portion size is huge and easily the most generous dish I’ve had there. The pasta tastes fresh and homemade, and you can tell real care is going into every plate. Other favorites I’ve tried (and loved): Spicy Shrimp Alla Vodka, Spaghetti and Meatballs, and Bolognese “Al Forno.” All incredible—but if you want the biggest bang for your buck, start with the Chicken Parmesan. Second—the experience. POPS has this cool counter-style service that’s quick and easy, and it’s honestly one of my favorite parts. You order at the counter, then they give you a table “centerpiece” with a type of pasta on it, and once your food is ready they bring it right to you. They’ll still check in to see if you need anything (like water), but it’s not a typical waiter/waitress model—which I personally love because it feels relaxed and efficient while still being attentive. The interior design is beautiful, and those stunning orange chairs are such a vibe. Add in the jazz music playing in the background and it genuinely feels like you’re in a classy New York café—right in the heart of downtown Canton. And if you go during the holidays, they somehow make it feel even more upscale. Around Christmas time, the decorations are so well done—festive, classy, and cozy without feeling over-the-top. It adds to that “special night out” feeling and makes downtown Canton feel extra magical. The team is also wonderful: kind, passionate, and genuinely helpful with recommendations. You can feel that it’s family-run, and it shows in the warmth and pride they bring to the experience. Just a note—since they’re family-run, double-check their hours before you go. A couple quick logistics notes for anyone visiting: parking can be a little tough because it’s downtown. I recommend trying Downtown Kitchen parking before 2 PM, but be prepared for a bit of a walk. Also, the bathrooms are shared with the Thrive co-working space, but they’re nice and clean, and it wasn’t an issue at all. This has been such a wonderful addition to Canton, and I’m genuinely so excited they’re expanding—Bully Run at The Mill cannot come soon enough. If you’re searching for the best Italian food in Canton, POPS is it.
Jan 13, 2026 · Google ReviewMy girlfriend and I had been eyeing this place for a while and finally decided to give it a try. The service was absolutely incredible. The woman taking orders walked us through the menu and offered some of her personal recommendations. After we ordered and were seated, someone checked on us multiple times to make sure everything was okay. The food also came out very quick, as before we could even get comfortable in our seats it was already out! I ordered the “Hey Frankie” and loved it. The flavor was fantastic, and the hot honey mustard made it even better. My girlfriend enjoyed her Chicken Parm and had enough left over to take home, thanks to the generous portion size. We also ordered a side of Cheesy Bread, which wasn’t our favorite, but it still had enough flavor for us to finish it. All in all, the visit was well worth our time, and we’ll definitely be back!
Aug 7, 2025 · Google ReviewI loved POP’s. The atmosphere & ambiance was incredible. Such a cozy spot here in Downtown. We got great service, and the food was amazing. The menu is really well executed and the combinations of flavors for these dishes is very well executed. The Caesar, pastas and sandwiches were all excellent and we will continue to return!
