Let me just start by saying the staff is top-notch — always nice, helpful, and welcoming with a smile. The rooms are clean, a great size, and the bathroom is spacious. We had a king bed that was very comfortable, especially the pillows. The location is also super convenient to everything, which made getting around easy. Overall, a great stay and we’d definitely return.
Jan 4, 2026 · Google ReviewOverall the hotel was decent. The lady at the front desk with the neck brace was not the most professional or friendly over multiple interactions. In the pictures you'll see that the room has issues. The bed was actually pretty comfy and the pillows were good. I will also say that the room was pretty clean as well. The problems are just the lack of care in my opinion. Maintenance matters to me and it should to the hotel. The faucet is too short and causes you to rub the side of the sink when washing your hands, the bathroom doors were literally off their track and ready to fall (should have been addressed before check in considering I'm sure it happened during the last cleaning, but I fixed it), missing and not fully installed towel hooks, light out in the elevator, soap dispenser only held on by the wallpaper, empty conditioner bottle (also should not have happened if cleaning is checking everything), and the desk chair was dingy and faded like it was from a 1965 hotel. I know that's a long list, but overall the cleanliness appeared decent, most of the staff was friendly, the property looked well maintained, the breakfast was... hotel breakfast, and the bed was comfy. This hotel could easily push the 4 or 5 star rating with attention to detail and a little maintenance.
Jun 20, 2026 · Google ReviewTara was a great help at check in and check out. Her customer service was 5 stars. The location was very convenient. The refrigerator was not super cold and the rooms could use a little updating but served their purpose.
Jul 6, 2026 · Google ReviewThis hotel is extremely nice, it gave a resort feel, I was the only person on the first floor due to only one room on that floor. That made me feel exclusive. Thank you Tara for everything you all did during my stay!!
Aug 18, 2026 · Google ReviewBecause severe weather was expected in our area and storms make me very uneasy, I decided to book a hotel room for the night rather than stay home worrying about trees falling around the house. We normally stay at Best Western, but after reading recent reviews I decided to try Hampton Inn Acworth instead. I called the reservation line and specifically requested a double queen room on the ground floor. Before giving my credit card information, I clearly asked what the total cost for the night would be. I was told $111.99 for a Sunday night, which also matched what the website showed. Based on that quoted total, I provided my credit card information to complete the reservation. Only after the reservation was completed was I told the actual total would be $172.71. When I questioned the large difference, the representative could not clearly explain it other than saying it was due to taxes. However, when I received the receipt, it showed $60.72 added as “Recovery Tax Fees.” To put that in perspective: • Quoted total before booking: $111.99 • Final charge after booking: $172.71 • $60.72 of that total listed as “Recovery Tax Fees.” This charge was never disclosed when I specifically asked for the total price before giving my credit card information. I am attaching a screenshot of the receipt so others can see exactly how the price changed. Because of this, I immediately asked to cancel the reservation since I felt the pricing had not been honestly presented. Customer support eventually offered 20% back to my credit card within 7 days, which I accepted, but the situation should never have happened. To add to the frustration, the room we received was not the room type I requested. I asked for a double queen room but was given a king bed with a sofa. I let my best friend take the bed while I slept on the sofa. That said, I do want to be fair. The hotel itself is beautiful, very clean, and the room was spacious and well maintained. Breakfast the next morning was excellent and the coffee was great. My concern is not with the property itself, but with the lack of transparency in pricing and the unexplained $60.72 in “recovery tax fees” added after I had already asked for the full total. Future guests may want to confirm the final charged amount very carefully before completing a reservation.
