I recently visited Georgia National Cemetery, where my Uncle Bob is laid to rest, and I cannot say enough about this place. He served in the Army in communications during Vietnam, and I know he would be incredibly proud to be buried here. The cemetery is beautiful, immaculately maintained, and run with a level of organization and professionalism that truly honors those who served. The staff is respectful and easy to work with, and the entire experience reflects dignity at every level. Being there and seeing his headstone was powerful and moving. The military absolutely gets this right. Job very well done. I know he would be proud and that means everything.
Apr 14, 2026 · Google ReviewBeautiful, serene, majestic, moving, and proudly maintained. A befitting and peaceful final resting place for all those who served and their loved ones. The drive through the gates brings comfort to those who remember those they have lost. The staff is exceptional and world class in providing solace, honor, dignity, compassion, and care, to not only those they have been given charge to lay to rest in these hallowed grounds, but also to the grieving familes and friends. Thank you for relieving some of the heavy burden of grief.
Dec 16, 2025 · Google ReviewThe Georgia National Cemetery is a beautiful place to visit a loved one. In my experience, the staff have always been courteous and respectful, and the grounds are well maintained. The office is open from Monday thru Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m, but visitation hours are daily from sunrise to sunset. The public information center has a kiosk where you can look up your loved one by last name and print out a nap with their location number, even when the office is closed.

Nov 11, 2025 · Google ReviewAs painful as it is to see my daddy's name on the headstone, but through my heart brokenness, going gives me comfort. This has to be one of the most beautiful & peaceful places on earth. The grounds are extremely well kept. Every time I visit, I am so happy that my daddy chose the GA National Cemetary for his final resting place.
