This was our first time visiting City Barbecue in Woodstock, GA. It's a good location with a convenient drive-thru option and a fairly large dining room and patio. Nick helped take our order. He was super friendly and very helpful. He gave good recommendations. When we asked about the potato salad side, he and most of the staff agreed that it was their favorite. I decided to try the two meats with two sides in lieu of the City Meal because I have never been a fan of Pepsi products. Both the pulled pork and the beef briskets tasted fresh, flavorful and tender. The meat is served without sauce, but they have a variety of choices, including Original, Sweet City, and Brush Fire. We enjoyed the Original sauce, but the Sweet City was our favorite. I did end up ordering the potato salad side based upon the staff recommendation. It tasted fresh and flavorful. I also order the mac & cheese side with one piece of Texas Toast. The mac & cheese tasted a little dry, not very creamy or cheesy. We didn't try dessert this time, but I would definitely consider ordering the Banana Pudding the next time we visit. Cheers

First time eating at City BBQ and I was pleasantly surprised! Great brisket… Slow cooked 18 hours and perfectly tender. Of course you must have collard greens with barbecue and the baked beans were excellent. Awesome staff that even brought my tray to my table. I’ll come back.

What can I say but completely amazing from walking in the door till we left. Staff was so nice and welcoming. Sample was delicious! Brisket was so moist and falls apart in your mouth. It was to die for. Turkey was moist! Fried okra with the sauce it comes with is fire! Atmosphere, layout, theme, and design all flawless! If you want incredibly delicious BBQ come here!

Great first visit! First time visiting. It happened to be on Tuesday rib special! The ribs, corn pudding, hush puppies, and fried okra were my absolute favorites. The sweet tea pork belly (featured menu item) and brisket are good but need sauce. Try the pork belly with the Brush Fire sauce! For the brisket and other meat, I highly recommend mixing 50/50 Brush Fire and Sweet City sauces. Will be back!

The staff here is so friendly! Always a welcoming environment. Located on a busy road. However at the traffic light for easy access. Pleasant atmosphere. The ribs are on point. Try the Tuesday and Wednesday specials. Great value. Wonderful dining option for the area.
