We had never been here before but I saw their adorable Instagram ad for a “firecracker” Fourth of July coffee and had to go in. The bourbon barrel concept, where the coffee beans are aged in bourbon barrels is very unique and adds an awesome flavor to the coffee! Now, if bourbon isn’t your thing, they also have regular beans as well. But, my husband IS a bourbon drinker and he really enjoyed the coffee that he got. The firecracker drinks were very tasty and very adorable! It’s July in Georgia, so we had our coffee iced and my son got a frozen coffee and it was like dessert! The frozen coffee was also very smooth as far as the texture, no chunky ice at all and that gave it a great mouthfeel! The coffee shop was cute and modern with warm lighting and wood accents. I appreciated the variety of seating. Tables for two, tables for four, there is a room at the front with a large table where you could have a meeting for several people, and also some couches and individual seating by the window. Great local coffee house! Ball Ground is lucky to have you guys!

SallyThis was my second visit, and I’m officially hooked! It was my first time trying barrel-aged coffee, and I’m blown away by how they capture those deep, spirited flavors without any actual alcohol. It’s such a unique way to experience a brew. The staff is incredibly welcoming, and the atmosphere is the perfect place to unwind. I’ll definitely be a lifelong customer—this place is a hidden gem that deserves all the recognition!

Lynne The GoddessI'm so in love and I hate that I'm not a local. I got the flower child matcha, and honestly I was so sure it'd be an overly sweet drink that masked the matcha... thankfully I was wrong!! I was so pleasantly surprised by the subtle sweetness, yet beautiful respect paid to every flavor. This drink could easily create an addict who happily wrestles with downtown traffic/parking to get it. Last but certainly not least... the service is phenomenal!! I called ahead to order, and the barista who took my order was very knowledgeable and kind. I was surprised, when I arrived, because they were pretty busy. Usually places like this barely answer the phone... let alone be so kind and patient enough to help me decide on an order. They were just as amazing in-store, and despite arriving only 5 minutes my call... my order was ready!!

Paul BeachumA must try! I’ve driven through Ball Ground dozens of times and finally decided to give it a try; I really should have sooner. You must try their barrel aged coffee, aged in bourbon barrels. Fast friendly service. They have snacks, and their whole bean coffee for sale. Nice spot to enjoy coffee, snacks, relax a little. Cornhole games on the side and umbrella covered seating. Locally owned. If you are anywhere in the area it’s worth the drive to try it!

Michael HPicked up some special coffee after lunch. Maxed selections and the ground it up for use in our machine at home. Very aromatic. Delicious indeed.
