Woodstock
The Park at City Center is a go-to spot to slow down and unwind as the evening sets in. Waleska is no stranger to a colorful evening sky. At Garland Mountain Sporting Clays, you can take in a stunning sunset as the sun dips behind the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Canton
For those closer to Canton, Fields Landing Park offers a peaceful setting to watch the sun set over Lake Allatoona. Between Canton and Ball Ground, West Milford Farms hosts a monthly sunset concert series from April through October. Enjoy its rolling fields that draw neighbors and visitors alike to spread out blankets and lawn chairs as the evening cools. There’s something unhurried about the whole affair, kids running between rows of hay bales, the laughter floating on the wind, and a band easing into their set as the sky begins to slow shift from gold to pink to deep blue. It’s a simple pleasure, yet one that keeps the crowds coming back all season long.
Ball Ground
A little ways away, Calvin Farmer Park near downtown Ball Ground offers a relaxing spot to enjoy the sunset. With a beautiful fountain, nearby playground, and walking trail, there’s something for everyone to enjoy while the sky fills with color. Holly Springs
JB Owens Park in Holly Springs is a peaceful place to enjoy a sunset.
